New mum Kate Ferdinand has admitted she chose to bottle feed her baby boy but kept it a secret because "there is so much pressure".
The reality TV star welcomed baby Cree with husband Rio Ferdinand in December and says while she is loving being a mum to a newborn, she feared the reaction if she was open about how she chose to feed her baby.
The 29-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star said: "Me and my bubba. I just love it when he looks at me when I’m feeding him.

"I chose not to breastfeed Cree, for so many reasons and I was worried about admitting it at first as there is so much pressure to breastfeed, but thankfully now I just know that a fed baby is a happy baby and Cree is the happiest little soul and we are so grateful ."
But Kate, who is also stepmum to Rio's three children - Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, admitted that bottle feeding has not been plain sailing - until she found special feeding bottles.
She said: "We had a few issues with other bottles for Cree, but @mambaby_uk has been amazing for us as a family.

"They give babies the breastfeeding experience because their shape requires the same movement that a baby would use at the breast. They also prevent colic with the vented base.
"If Cree is happy we are happy."
Kate recently also admitted that in her first few weeks of being a mum she "cried every single day".
She said: "“I think I cried every single day for about five weeks. You expect to be doing everything you possibly can for your baby and when you can’t … It was something I really struggled with.

“I was in my own little world, I felt really confused and had lots of anxiety and I didn’t think anyone understood.
“I was all over the place emotionally. I couldn’t even put my trousers on or my knickers.”
