Kate Ferdinand 'nervous' ahead of due date after sharing cryptic post about suffering

Pregnant Kate Ferdinand has admitted she's feeling the nerves ahead of the birth of her first child.

The 29-year-old, who's pregnant with her and husband Rio's first child together, has always been candid about her pregnancy experiences.

Now she's told that she's feeling "nervous" about bringing their new tot - a baby boy - into such a "busy" household.

She's already step-mum to Rio's kids Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12 and Tia, nine.

"I'm a bit of a worrier," she shared with OK! magazine.

"It's quite a busy household as it is - we've got a lot going on. There's a lot of horse riding, football, everything. So it makes me a little bit nervous, having a baby, how he's going to fit in."

This comes after Kate shared a cryptic quote on her Instagram Stories from psychiatrist Elizabeth Kubler-Ross.

The quote read: "The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of the depths.

"These person have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep, loving concern.

"Beautiful people do not just happen."

Despite her nerves, Kate recently told that her step-kids can't wait to meet their new baby brother.

Rio shared them with late wife Rebecca Ellison, who died in 2015 aged 34 after a battle with breast cancer.

Kate was recently forced to confront an online troll who attacked her for referring to the kids as her "family."

Despite most of the comments being hugely positive, one troll thought they'd have a jab.

Kate branded the troll "narrow-minded" and wrote: "Please think before you speak, are all foster & adopted children family less?! Of course not. Family is about love and choosing to be there for one another.

"We are family by CHOICE it's so sad you don't understand, let's hope you never have to go through such heartache to get it."

She said they'd gone off the name they chose (xkateferdinand/Instagram)

"Well said love," Rio chimed in.

Kate's kept tight-lipped about possible names for their boy, but told she and Rio settled on a name before quickly going off it.

She told OK! magazine : "We have a couple of potentials. But we're just waiting to see what he looks like when he comes out and if he suits them."
