Kate Ferdinand has felt 'uneasy and overwhelmed' as she self-isolates with family

Kate Ferdinand has revealed that she has sometimes felt 'overwhelmed' in lockdown during the coronavirus crisis.

The former TOWIE star, 28, has been in self-isolation alongside her footballer husband Rio Ferdinand and his three children, Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, eight.

Taking to social media, the reality star was answering questions from her fans to pass some time in quarantine.

When one fan said they were 'suffering' with having children at home during the pandemic and asked for tips on anxiety, Kate revealed she had too felt 'overwhelmed'.

"Most importantly, I hope you're ok," she began in her touching post.

"Honestly, I have generally been feeling quite good but I have had some bad days where I have been feeling really really uneasy and overwhelmed."

Kate identified that she 'struggled' without a routine and has tried her hardest to put some structure into her day, which involved cleaning and setting small goals.

"The small goals help me stay focused and my mind busy," she continued.

"Saying that, I'm not too hard on myself if I am struggling.

"Tomorrow we have decided to have a rest day, relax, try not to do too many chores and jobs and I am telling myself THAT'S OK!"

To round off her encouraging message, she revealed that exercise, dog walks, fresh air and listening to her body have helped.

Kate is currently holed up with her husband Rio and his three children.

Since schools across Britain shut their doors during the coronavirus pandemic, meaning step-mum Kate has had a busy week home-schooling the trio and coming up with entertainment throughout the week.

"There’s been some mad moments, lots of fun family workouts and walks, a broken arm, lots of moaning, some shouting ... some vodkas but mostly LOVE and we SURVIVED our first week," she recounted about the increased family time.

The couple have also been keeping fan updated with their latest self-isolation exercise tips and leading their kids through a number of workouts.
