Kate Ferdinand has opened up on her added joy over Christmas time since meeting her hubby Rio Ferdinand.
The former TOWIE star, 30, and former footballer, 43, began dating in 2017 before tying the knot two years later. And Kate admits to the festive period being more festive since she became a part of the family with Rio's kids, Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13, and Tia, 10.
The pair began dating two years after the former England star sadly lost his wife Rebecca following her short cancer battle.
Kate and Rio also have a son together, one-year-old Cree, and she joked that he will be "terrorising" the family on Christmas Day "trying to get all the presents open".
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the blonde beauty said: "Christmas with the kids is just so special, as they get really excited and it just makes it so magical. Since I've met Rio and the children, I've just loved Christmas as it's so fun.
"Just all being together and seeing the kids' faces full of excitement."
Kate even admitted to being super organised when it comes to Christmas and said she started preparing in November to try to make it go on for "as long as possible".
She went on to open up about the family of six's plans for Christmas Day itself, confessing they don't plan on moving far from the home and will be having a pyjama day.
She said: "We may have some parents over. To be honest, we haven’t sorted it but people will probably pop in and out – if Boris [Johnson] allows us to! It’s hard to make plans, we’re going to play it by ear."
And she confessed that now son Cree has found his feet and can "move a bit" she expects him to be in full flow trying to open the presents throughout the day.
However, she admitted that she hopes to just spend "some quality time" as a family as their busy schedules often don't allow it.
Last week she shared a funny snap from just after she'd gave birth to Cree as Rio mocked her by eating her favourite food at a time she couldn't have any food.
The previously unseen image showed the moments Cree was born and while she may not have seen the funny side at the time, she poked fun at her beau for deciding to devour a takeaway as she recovered from her C-section.
