Kate Ferdinand enjoys first cocktail in months after giving birth to baby Cree

Kate Ferdinand gave birth to her first child just a month ago, and she's finally getting to enjoy a drink.

The former TOWIE star, 29, took to her Stories on her Instagram account on Friday night to post a picture of her cocktail.

She held the glass up to the camera, captioning it: "It's been a while."

It comes after Kate gave birth to her baby son Cree back in December, her first child with her husband, former footballer Rio Ferdinand.

Kate is also stepmother to Rio’s three children Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine, who he shared with his late wife Rebecca.

Announcing the pregnancy on Instagram, Kate shared a video of the three children excitedly finding out the news.

"The crazy house is about to get a little bit crazier," Kate wrote.

"Every time I watch this it makes me cry, the best reaction Baby Ferdy we are all so excited to meet you."

On Christmas Eve she shared her first picture of her son, revealing they'd named him Cree.

In the photo was the three older children and Rio dressed in matching Christmas pyjamas.

Cree even had a matching onesie.

"My whole heart," Kate captioned the post.

"Cree Ferdinand ... our angel boy we all love you so much."
