Kate Ferdinand admits she's knackered as a new mum to her newborn son Cree

Kate Ferdinand confessed she was exhausted from being a new mum.

The former TOWIE bombshell, 29, welcomed her newborn son Cree into the world recently.

Already the former reality star was the step-mum to her husband Rio's three children Lorenz, 14, Tate, 12, and Tia, nine.

But Kate has been candid about her struggles as she enters motherhood for the first time.

She wrote: "I feel like I'm already tired tomorrow."

Kate won over a lot of praise from her 1.4million followers when she shared a picture of her bruised post-baby body.

Later, she admitted she had been "nervous about sharing my reality" before she got candid about motherhood.

The mum spilled intimate details about her "traumatic birth" and her emergency C section.

There have been so many "tears" and "emotions" as she adapts to her new lifestyle.

Despite it's difficulties, Kate reassured fans her happiness has been "overwhelming".

The blonde credited her amazing husband Rio and his wonderful children for their help.

In full, she shared: "I wanted to share this with you. This is me ... and let me add this is a much better version of me than the last 10 days. After having an emergency c section, and a bit of a traumatic birth I’ve been completely wiped out.

"The happiness has been overwhelming but so have the tears and emotions, I’ve felt like I can’t do what I’m meant to be doing with Cree as I haven’t been able to change or feed him consistently which has had me feeling all types of guilt, for Cree, Rio & that I can’t be doing what I normally do for the kids.

"It’s a whirlwind I just wasn’t expecting... but at the same time the most perfect whirlwind. To be standing up holding my bubba like this is a dream right now.

"When we are stripped of all the things we can normally do, the small things become extra special. Feeling so lucky to have my amazing husband and the kids helping me with everything.

"What an amazing end to a pretty rubbish year. P.S. for anyone about to give birth, make sure you have a huge stock of big black knickers, the bigger the better."

Kate and Rio were married in a magical ceremony which unfolded over three days in Turkey.

It's been two wonderful years since they tied the knot in 2019 and their family has become closer than ever.
