Kate channels this season’s biggest hair trend in £18 Zara headband for Festival of Remembrance

Kate Middleton modelled a very on-trend Zara headband to the Festival of Rememberance last night.

The hair accessory, which has been seen in different iterations this season on the runways of Prada, Dior and Simone Rocha, retails for £18 and is still available to buy.

37-year-old Middleton rocked the headband with her hair, which is usually in a gravity-defying blow-dry, being kept natural and in loose waves.

While the designer of her classic navy dress isn't yet clear, the pearl earrings she wore for the event, which was held at the Royal Albert Hall, were lent to her by Queen Elizabeth II.

Similarly opting for a dark colour palette was 38-year-old Meghan Markle, who modelled a bespoke jacquard dress from British brand, Erdem, for the occasion.

Markle paired the dress with a pair of her trusty Aquazurra Deneuve Pumps, which retail for £475, and are still available to buy, and a bespoke pair of ruby Jessica McCormack earrings - the diamond versions of which are still available to buy.

Both Markle and Middleton were joined by their husbands, Prince William and Prince Harry, and the occasion marks the first time 'The Fab Four' have all been together in public since Trooping of the Colour ceremony in June.

Accompanying the four royals were various other members of the Royal Family, including Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward with his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex. The red poppies on their outfits are a symbol of remembrance for military members who died in the line of duty.

The Festival of Remembrance is an annual tradition which has happened every year since 1923 and is dedicated to servicemen and women who have died in the line of duty.
