Kate Beckinsale's 'diva' demands on set of The Widow leave cast and crew 'bewildered'

Actress Kate Beckinsale is said to have shocked ITV cast and crew on the set of The Widow.

Pete Davidson's new girlfriend, 45, reportedly had very specific demands while filming – from altering the rules so show bosses allowed her to smoke where she pleased to insisting on being given 1cm cubes of meat so she could track how much she eats.

According to The Sun , Kate also allegedly requested a personal assistant to feed her ice chips while they filmed in South Africa.

Her smoking demands mean that producers even had to install extractor fans in her hotel suite, the publication claim.

An insider said: “All the cast and crew who witnessed these bizarre demands being pandered to were bewildered.

“Particularly as they were working in the searing heat, getting on with it and making do with what food and accommodation they were given.

“They were used to producing  British dramas  with regular British TV stars instead of a Hollywood actress.

“They say she was a brilliant actress — but a bit of a nightmare too.”
