Kate and William display 'extremely rare PDA' that's 'hard to miss', expert claims

Prince William and Kate Middleton have displayed three new changes as a couple in an 'extremely rare public display of affection', according to a body language expert.

Jesús Enrique Rosas, who is known as The Body Language Guy on YouTube, took to his channel The Royal Rogue to reveal the new behaviours he claimed to spot in the Prince and Princess of Wales which signifies that the couple share a happy and healthy relationship, the Express reports.

Two out of three of the 'signals' he picked up on were interactions between the couple during their recent trip to Birmingham and the third was Kate with several members of the public.

1. William’s hand around Kate's waist

Speaking of the heir to the throne's body language, Jesús explained: "The first one stands out just because an extremely rare public display of affection, in the form of William’s hand on Kate’s waist".

This is not the first time William has used a hand signal with Kate as his hand is often placed on her lower back as a 'gesture of reassurance' but the Prince does not always use "his full hand, just the tip of his fingers".

The expert claims it's a "good signal" for a partner "to know that consciously and subconsciously, you are there with them, present and in the moment”.

While studying previous public engagements of the royal couple, Jesús noted that William used to place his hand flat on Kate’s back "more". He suggested that William may no longer do this as often because Kate doesn't require the 'subtle reassurance' anymore.

Instead, the King's eldest son has opted for a new hand signal - placing his hand on Kate's waist and his arm around her back.

He continued: “What stands out about this new public display of affection is that even though William’s fingers are not fully extended (around Kate’s waist), they form a cup of protection - this more than reassurance, is a gesture of possession and protection."

The expert added: "This is a masculine and loving gesture," and clarified that it doesn't equate to William "controlling Kate with a possessive gesture", it just means the Prince appears more "relaxed and confident than usual".

2. Kate’s head tilt and eye gaze

The second new body language signal the beady eyed expert noticed was "the way Kate exposes her neck while turning to William and smiling at him".

The expert explained that it's a "very feminine gesture" that was held "for more than a couple of minutes" and could possibly suggest that Kate "feels comfortable with him, protected and she likes him a lot".

Jesús also observed a "tiny detail" which he claims "is easy to miss" as he pointed out how “Kate’s eyes are directed to William’s mouth”.

He said it’s "common for Kate to look into William’s eyes, but it’s also fairly common to catch her looking at his mouth".

Jesús advised that “this is another signal of attraction”, between the couple.

3. Laughing together

When the royal couple visited a restaurant together, the phone rang and William picked it up. At the other end of the line was a customer looking to book a table for dinner that evening and instead of handing the phone back to the restaurant owner, the Prince took the customer's booking himself.

Speaking of the light-hearted situation, Jesús commented: “This was the real deal. The way they are laughing… the energy is just there for everyone to see.”

He added that “William looks relaxed” and Kate had “her bright smile” across her face as they enjoyed the situation together.
