Celtic will hold talks with Anderlecht over a move for Kasper Dolberg today, it has emerged.
Brendan Rodgers wants the Hoops to sign the Denmark international in an £8.5m from the Belgian side.
The Scottish Sun claims reports in Belgium say talks over a deal will begin shortly.
It's reported that a fee of £8.5m will be enough to make Dolberg a Celtic player before Monday's transfer deadline.
The striker has two years left remaining on his contract at Anderlecht.
However, with their need for funds, especially after exiting the Europa Conference League last night, the Pro League outfit are willing to do business.
It's said that a Qatari club have already seen an offer knocked back.
And this has alerted Celtic to the opportunity to bring Dolberg to Glasgow.
He scored 24 goals last season and has five in eight games so far this time around. He's managed to find the 12 times in his 55 international caps for Denmark.
His arrival will be dependent on Adam Idah's exit to Swansea City.
Rodgers is ready to wave goodbye to the Irishman after just one permanent season of the 24-year-old at Celtic Park.
