Fears are growing for a missing schoolgirl who was last seen near Edinburgh Waverley station.
Police say they are "understandably worried" about Kasey Rowan and are urging anyone who has seen her since yesterday evening to come forward.
The 15-year-old was last seen on Market Street, close to the train station, at around 7.05pm on Wednesday, 11 December. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
She is described as being 5ft 4ins tall, of slim build, pale complexion and having blonde mid length hair. She has scars on her neck, speaks with a broad Newcastle accent and was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket over a dark grey zippled up jumper, dark grey joggers and grey Nike trainers.
Inspector Mailer from Howdenhall Police Station said: "Kasey has been missing for a number of hours now and we are understandably worried about her. We have a number of police resources out looking for Kasey and I am now looking for the assistance from the public."
Anyone who thinks they have seen Kasey, or has information as to her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3140 of 11 December.
