Producer Ekta Kapoor recreated the Dola Re Dola number on her TV show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and shared her excitement on social media.Actors Erica Fernandes, who plays Prerna Basu, and Hina Khan, who portrays Komolika, in the reboot of the hit TV show, performed the popular Devdas song on theshow. Lead actor Parth Samthaan (Anurag Basu) can be seen watching their dance act with others.
Ekta shared a mashup of the dance performance, earlier performed by Shweta Tiwari, who shot to fame as Prerna Basu in the original. While Shweta and her co-stars are seen in red sarees, worn in Bengali style as they perform the Aishwarya Rai-Madhuri Dixit dance number, Erica and Hina decked up in identical pink lehengas.

Earlier, Parth had shared a behind the scenes video from the shoot as he shook a leg with co-stars Shubhavi Choksey and Pooja Banerjeee while Hina practised her dance steps. He shared the video with the caption, “After Alama Dolama , We are Back with ...... #bts #kasautiizindagiikay @shubhaavi @poojabanerjeee.” While Pooja plays his sister Nivedita Basu, Shubhavi is seen as their mother on the show.
Hina had also teased the performance on her Instagram account by sharing a picture in costume. She captioned it, “#KomoSwag #Nikaaa stay tuned.” She had also shared a boomerang video from the shoot.
Hina recently got a pleasant surprise from boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal upon her return to Mumbai. The actor had recently visited Delhi for Arijit Singh’s new music video, also featuring Priyank Sharma of Puncch Beat fame. Upon her return, Hina received a bouquet of flowers from Rocky along with a note that read, ‘Welcome home my workaholic superstar’.
