Karol G Makes History At Billboard Women In Music Awards

At the recent Billboard Women in Music awards ceremony held at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California, Karol G made history by becoming the first Latina to be named Woman of the Year. The global superstar, known for her reggaetón hits, received the prestigious award after a dynamic performance of her song 'Amargura.'

This recognition adds to Karol G's list of groundbreaking achievements. She recently made history by being the first woman to win in the best música urbana category at the Grammys. Her album 'Mañana Será Bonito' also made waves by becoming the first Spanish-language album by a female artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

During her stadium tour in support of her album, Karol G became the first Latina to headline at many of the venues she performed at, solidifying her status as a rising star in the music industry.
