Karnataka: Three held for hunting deer

KALABURAGI: Yadagiri forest department staff arrested three people for allegedly hunting deer at Yalasatti village in Gurumatkal taluk in Yadagiri district.

Amir Khan, Nagareddy and Hussain were for allegedly hunting deer and killing it. The staff have also recovered the meat from them.

It is said that the accused killed the deer at Yalasatti forest and had kept the meat at their friend Arif Khan’s house in the same village. After getting authentic information that they had stored deer meat in the house, forest department staff seized it.

Two more accused have escaped from the village and forest staff are looking for them. Assistant conservator of forest Mohammad Asad guided the team in arresting the accused. tnn
