It will be the first time the plane touches down in south India since it has remained operational in Mumbai from its inaugural flight in 2014.

Sources with Emirates confirmed that the A380 will land in Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) on Sunday, October 30 after its scheduled take-off from Dubai.

In its official statement, the airline said that its flagship A380 service will be introduced for the first time to Bengaluru to serve its customers on the busy route thus becoming the first airline to operate the A380, the world’s largest commercial aircraft, in Bengaluru and South India.

The A380 will operate as EK568/569 on the Dubai-Bengaluru sector offering economy class seats in addition to premium cabins in business class and first class.

The flight also boasts of extra legroom and premium cabins with special onboard features apart from private suites and shower spas in first class, sources said.
