MANGALURU: Low visibility due to foggy conditions at the Mangaluru International Airport on Tuesday caused diversion of a flight and delayed departure of three flights.
Flight IX 0384 from Dubai to Mangaluru was diverted to Kannur International airport. The scheduled time of arrival was 6am. The flight later arrived from Kannur at around 9.45am.
Another flight, SG 059 from Mangaluru to Dubai departed almost nine hours at 8.30am. While the scheduled departure time was 11.35pm (Monday), it departed at 8.30am on Tuesday.
Yet another flight, 6E131, had to arrive at 7am but arrived two hours late. The same flight that leaves for Mumbai as 6E 5204 departed at 10 am again as against the scheduled departure time of 8am.
