Karnataka: Five-year-old boy attacked by stray dogs

DHARWAD: The inaction by the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation against the stray dog menace has resulted in a five-year-old boy being bitten by a pack of stray dogs in Navalur on the outskirts of Dharwad on Friday.

Samarth Ballur, studying in class 1, was attacked by stray dogs while he was returning home from school.

Sensing danger, the boy raised an alarm and locals rushed to the spot and chased the dogs away. But the dogs had already bitten his leg and back.
