Karmine Corp reportedly secures top NA rookie talent for LEC 2026 squad

Karmine Corp is reportedly adding the services of Alan “Busio” Cwalina to its roster for the upcoming LEC season. The 21-year-old support, widely regarded as one of North America’s most promising young players, is expected to join the French organization as part of its offseason rebuild.

The 21-year-old support is best known for his time with 100 Thieves Academy in the LCS and his standout performances as a support with FlyQuest this year, who qualified for Worlds 2025 as North America’s first seed. Following a turbulent 2025 split, Karmine Corp’s form fell drastically after winning the LEC Winter Split 2025, where they failed to qualify for MSI and Worlds.

The French organization is looking to strengthen its bottom lane by adding Busio, who will team up with Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert. Caliste emerged as one of Karmine Corp’s standout performers in 2025, earning the LEC Rookie of the Year award for his impressive debut season. With Busio joining forces alongside him, Karmine Corp appears poised to field a formidable bot lane duo capable of challenging Europe’s best teams.

If the move becomes final, Busio will reportedly replace Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé, who held the team’s support position throughout the 2025 season. Even though Busio is an import from NA, his Polish citizenship allows him to compete as an EU resident, giving Karmine Corp valuable roster flexibility under the LEC’s import rules, as the org also has players from Korea, such as Canna in the top lane.

As Vladi is still exploring his offers from different teams, the team could also have a fresh new face in the mid lane. Multiple sources suggest that Bok “Reapered” Han-gyu, a veteran coach known for his coaching experience in leagues around the world, such as the LCS, LPL, and LCK, is lined up to lead Karmine Corp’s new lineup.

If confirmed, Busio would become the second North American import to join the LEC after Jojopyun in just two years. It’s also a clear statement of intent from Karmine Corp as it looks to solidify its position among Europe’s elite heading into 2026.
