Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber attend Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld White Shirt Project exhibition

Supermodels including Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber gathered to pay homage to late designer Karl Lagerfeld during Paris Fashion Week at The White Shirt Project exhibition in his honor.

Lagerfeld was the longtime creative director for Chanel. He passed away in February.

He famously said, "If you ask me what I’d most like to have invented in fashion, I’d say the white shirt. Everything else comes after.”

A banner including the quote hung in the courtyard by Saint-Germain-du-Prés on Wednesday, as fashion week attendees stopped by to remember the late emperor of fashion including Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld, who curated the exhibit, model Eva Herzigova and Gucci's Alessandro Michele.

Shirts were created by Roitfeld, model Cara Delevingne, designer Tommy Hilfiger, Kate Moss, Takashi Murakami and more. They're available for $777 in the US and 777 euros in Europe - seven was Lagerfeld's favorite number.

The shirts are available now on Farfetch.com
