'Karius 2.0' - These Chelsea fans can't help mocking Thibaut Courtois after Belgium blunder

Thibaut Courtois has been the butt of Chelsea fans' jokes on a number of occasions since leaving Stamford Bridge.

And it's happened again.

The Belgium goalkeeper fell out of favour with the Blues supporters after forcing his way out of the door last summer.

Real Madrid signalled their interest in his signature during the World Cup in Russia and linked with a return to the Spanish capital for some time given his children live there, the Belgian international went AWOL a week before the new season in order to force through a move to Real Madrid.

Final Premier League table predicted by super computer and it's great news for Spurs and Arsenal

Courtois eventually got his wish but his actions didn't go down very well at all with Chelsea supporters.

Blues fans have had cause to laugh at the 26-year-old on a number of occasions this season, making a number of high-profile errors, as well as losing his spot in the Los Blancos XI.

Returning manager Zinedine Zidane dropped the former Blue in favour of Keylor Navas at the weekend, and his poor week continued as he made a shocking blunder for Belgium in the European Championship qualifying clash with Russia this evening.

Just two minutes after Belgium took the lead, Courtois dawdled on the ball in his own area, handing it straight to Denis Cheryshev, who gleefully fired into a empty net for 1-1.

The next steps for five members of Chelsea's 'Loan Army' who are being tipped for bright futures

Chelsea star Eden Hazard spared his former teammate's blushes with a brace to secure all three points for the Red Devils.

But Chelsea fans were not going to let it rest, taking great delight in Courtois' mistake.
