Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has insisted he has no plans to leave the Spanish club.
The France forward has been persistently linked with Arsenal, but he took to Twitter to say he was going nowhere. “For all those clowns who want to make believe things at my fans. Here this is my home ! HalaMadridYNadaMas,” Benzema wrote.

Real earlier pointedly mentioned Benzema in an update from squad training in a bid to quell rumours of a switch. The Spanish club began their league campaign with a 0-0 draw at Sporting Gijón on Sunday. “Benzema worked with the group during the first part of the training session, when the players who started against Sporting trained at a lower intensity level,” a story on realmadrid.com read.
The former Lyon striker’s agent Karim Djaziri had earlier denied that his client wanted to leave. “Karim is very happy at Real Madrid and he will be a Real Madrid player by the end of this transfer window, 1,000%,” Djaziri said. “Karim is not looking to move anywhere this summer.”
