Emmerdale fans will see character Naomi Walters near her exit from the village in sad scenes.
As our colleagues at The Mirror report, next week, we’ll see Naomi quit her job at The Woolpack and contemplate leaving the village. Earlier this year, we reported Karene Peter, who plays Naomi, had decided to quit the ITV programme.
The storyline begins with Victor is sad to see Naomi struggling with money. He convinces her to chat to Vinny and see if she can bag some of the cash he has got. He soon lends her some money, with Naomi taken aback by the gesture.

A delighted Naomi, with the cash now in her hand, is urged by Victor to enjoy the money rather than use it to pay off her debts. She thinks about it for a moment, considering whether to just splurge the money rather than use it for what she really needs to.
Later, she is accused of giving Victor free pints and humiliated, she decides to quit her job and storms out of the pub. Later, she’s left contemplating her next move.
Ahead of her exit, Karene has praised soap colleagues Kevin Mathurin and Emile John - who play her father and brother respectively.
"Being on Emmerdale doesn't feel like work anyway, but Kevin makes it not feel like work at all. We get on very well – he's looked after me since the start and we have a genuine friendship," she said.
