Karen Pittman Will Not Return For And Just Like That

Karen Pittman will not reprise her role as Nya Wallace in the third season of And Just Like That.

Karen Pittman, known for her role as Nya Wallace on the popular Max series And Just Like That, will not be reprising her character for the upcoming third season. This news was confirmed by a spokesperson for Max in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. The spokesperson expressed gratitude for Pittman's portrayal of the intelligent and stylish Professor Nya Wallace in the first two seasons of the show.

The decision for Pittman's departure stems from her commitments to other projects, including her roles in the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show and the upcoming Netflix show Forever. The statement acknowledged the challenges of filming multiple shows simultaneously and regretfully announced that scheduling conflicts prevent Pittman from continuing her role in the third season of And Just Like That.

Pittman's character, Nya, played a significant role in the storyline as a friend to the main trio of Miranda, Carrie, and Charlotte, portrayed by Cynthia Nixon, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kristin Davis, respectively. The show follows the characters as they navigate the complexities of love, family, and friendship more than 15 years after the original Sex and the City series concluded.

In addition to Pittman, it was also revealed that Sara Ramírez, who portrayed the character Che Diaz, will not be returning for the third season of And Just Like That. The departure of both Pittman and Ramírez marks significant changes for the show's ensemble cast as it moves forward with new storylines and character dynamics.

Fans of Karen Pittman and her portrayal of Nya Wallace on And Just Like That will undoubtedly miss her presence on the show. However, they can look forward to seeing her talents showcased in her other projects, and her Max family and supporters will continue to cheer her on in her future endeavors.
