Karen Koster bawled her eyes out on Ireland AM this morning as the show compiled a special 40th birthday tribute for her.
The telly favourite turns 40 later this week, but because she won't be in studio on the day, the Ireland AM cast and crew pulled out all the show stops for the blonde beauty ahead of her milestone birthday.
Karen thought she was hosting a style segment when her co-host Tommy Bowe jumped in on camera.
The mum-of-three was shocked and thrilled as Tommy explained that they were going to celebrate her 40th birthday instead.
A video montage of the Dublin presenter’s Ireland AM career followed, with fabulous video messages from friends, family, school teachers and drama teachers.
TV star Dermot O’Leary was on hand to send his best wishes to the stunning presenter.
Karen's former Ireland AM host Ciara Doherty sent in a video message, as did Alan Hughes, who was recently admitted to hospital to get scans for his fast resting heartbeat.
Mum-of-three Karen was treated to balloons, flowers, champagne and cake as she cried saying, "I'm blown away. Thank you so much".
