Karen Gillan said she want's Ellen's job after she hosted her own chat show from her garage with guest stars including Lena Headley, Jack Black and her mum.
The Scots actress who had starred in Guardians of The Galaxy, Doctor Who and Jumanji, wanted to celebrate the release of her new Netflix movie Gunpowder Milkshake with a talk show.
Karen claims she was told by Netflix it was a terrible idea, but decided to do it anyway.
Showcasing the format on her YouTube channel she wrote: "To celebrate the premiere of Gunpowder Milkshake I made an absolutely chaotic talk show in my garage. "
America, let me take over for Ellen."
The tongue-in-cheek show called Chillin With Gillan! sees Karen sitting in her garage with a coupe of glasses of wine.
She begins:" Hi I'm Karen Gillan. To celebrate the release of Gunpowder Milkshake I asked Netflix if I could host my own talk show."
Playing a Netflix director's phone response, a man can be heard saying: "Hey Karen yeah, so I, we think, No'."
Karen ignores the advice and tells her audience: "Great show tonight. Some fun facts. I recorded this over an old tape of my auditions and I wrote it, shot it, and lit it myself just like Bob Burnham."
The crazy clip then see Karen auditioning for a role in Little Women as the part of the father in a staged 'deleted scene'.
It then cuts back to Karen introducing Lena Heady who she says is joining her in the studio live.
Lena turns out to be Karen Gillan's mum with a CGI motion capture green suit on and Lena Headley's head video-shopped on top if it.
The hilarious segment is interrupted by the garage door opening as one of Karen's neighbours tries to park in the shared space while Karen protests.
As a deep voice narrates the next part of the show, Lena asks 'Whose voice is that?' and Karen replies: "Voice? What voice. Oh that voice. That's our announcer."
She cuts to a demonic looking version of herself.
After Karen asks Lena what she does, Lena says she drinks wine and performs some backsprings and manoeuvres which Karen then asks her to perform.
Her mum appears from inside the costume and says 'I cant do that. Karen, I cant do that' as Karen pleads with her 'mum just shut up and do it. You're ruining my thing.'
The short segment then ends with Karen announcing: "Well that's our show, Thank you to Lena Headley and sorry to Jack Black for running out of time."
Jack Black doesn't look impressed as the camera pans to him waiting to be interviewed.
The actor asks: "What the hell was this Karen?"
The show really has to be seen to be believed and Gunpowder Milkshake is out now on Netflix US.
