Karen Clifton could easily end her estranged husband Kevin Clifton with a single word, her good friend Jeremy Vine has claimed.
Karen, who is reportedly reverting to her birth surname Hauer for this year's Strictly Come Dancing , has so far maintained a dignified silence in the face of her ex's new romance with Stacey Dooley.
But, Jeremy said on Monday's edition of his Channel 5 show, she could "take him down" if she chose to speak her mind.
"Karen is a very good friend of mine, and she's out of it," Jeremy told his audience on yesterday's show.

"By the way, one word from her would take him down and she hasn't said anything."
He added: "Blokes are very bad judges of how other blokes relate to women. [But] I would always take Karen's side in any argument."
Jeremy also poked fun at Kevin's three failed marriages , quipping: "It's quite difficult to get married three times..."
But the talk show host did soften slightly towards the Strictly badboy, pointing out: "The thing is, [Kevin] dances with people who have maybe been married for a long time and says, 'How are you in yourself?'

"And they haven't been asked that for years. He relates to people in an amazing way.
"No bloke ever asks that. And his legs move fast."
Meanwhile, Kevin has been practically guaranteed a spot in the Strictly 2019 line-up thanks to a contractual obligation.
BBC bosses speedily signed him up for another series after he took home the Glitterball trophy last December - before bombshell news of his romance with Stacey came out.
But the same can't be said for Katya Jones, who is believed to have been demoted to back-up dancer for the upcoming season thanks to her snoggate scandal with Seann Walsh behind husband Neil Jones's back.
