Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor unknowingly recreate iconic 'Jab We Met' moment; fans go WILD

Bollywood fans were sent into a frenzy when former co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor were spotted at their kids' school event to cheer them on as they performed live on the big stage. Interestingly, the former flames unwittingly recreated a moment that reminded fans of their iconic film 'Jab We Met'.

Fans could not believe their eyes when they saw Kareena seated in a front row with husband Saif Ali Khan on one side and Karan Johar on the other while Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput sat right behind them. The photos of Shahid seated behind Kareena seemed reminiscent of their iconic scene in the film 'Jab We Met', where Aditya takes Geet double seat on a cycle.

Photos and videos from the school visit soon went viral online with emotional fans saying, "Jab We Met Again…"

"That’s shahid & mira behind kareena & saif….wowhhhh mera jab we met heart," another fan commented.

Still another added, "Jab we met in another universe," while another chimed in, "Geet and Aditya, years later!"

Fans also shared clips of the two stars playing cheerleaders for their kids who were performing on-stage. Just last week, Bebo hit the headlines when a video of her cheering for son Jeh's annual day event went viral on social media. The clip saw the proud mommy cheering for the little one who played the role of an elephant in the play. Meanwhile, Thursday's event saw Taimur participating in a dance routine along with his classmates.

Kareena and Shahid, who became a hit jodi following the success of their film 'Jab We Met', sadly never worked together again. They reunited for 'Udta Punjab', but didn't share screen-space.
