Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson and inside linebacker Alexander Johnson were both named to Pro Football Focus‘ Team of the Week following Denver’s 20-13 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Jackson’s biggest play of the game came on a 4th-and-goal situation when he punched the ball out of running back Austin Ekeler’s hands, resulting in a touchback.
Johnson also stole points from the Chargers by intercepting quarterback Philip Rivers in the end zone. After a strong performance in Los Angeles, Johnson appears poised to keep his starting job.
“He had a great week of preparation and he’s always been a guy that when he’s in there he always knows what to do,” Jackson said of Johnson on Tuesday. “For him to step and play the way he played, that’s huge for us as a defense.”
Johnson started Sunday’s game in the place of an injured Josey Jewell.
