Kareem Hunt ‘will definitely have a role’ in his return per Freddie Kitchens

Kareem Hunt will make his Cleveland Browns debut in the Week 10 visit from the Buffalo Bills, barring any unforeseen setbacks. The running back will bring fresh legs and a more dynamic companion to work with Nick Chubb in the Browns backfield.

Browns coach Freddie Kitchens is excited to get Hunt into the lineup. He has big plans for the 2017 NFL rushing champ as a Kansas City Chiefs rookie.

“I’m very much looking forward to Kareem (Hunt) being with us, being able to play,’’ Kitchens said in his Monday press conference. “He will definitely have a role.”

Hunt has been practicing with the team for a couple of weeks as he gets ready to come off his 8-game suspension. How exactly Hunt will be used remains to be seen, but in training camp preseason he was definitively ahead of Dontrell Hilliard, who has served as the third-down back behind Chubb.
