The Cleveland Browns welcomed running back Kareem Hunt back to the team on Monday. The Browns announced Hunt has been cleared by the NFL to rejoin his teammates for practice.
Hunt remains suspended by the NFL for his off-field incident while he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. He is eligible to return to play in Week 10 after sitting out eight games. Getting Hunt cleared to practice with the team is a nice step toward incorporating the 2017 NFL rushing champ into the Browns offense.
The third-year running back is also rehabilitating from sports hernia surgery, which kept him out for some of the preseason and training camp.
