Kardashian's poignant reason for still driving their own cars despite being millionaires

The Kardashians may be one of the most famous families on the planet - but they still love to drive their own cars.

Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, and Kylie all have driveways full to the brim of the most lavish and extravagant wheels known to man - and despite the fact they have hired chefs, personal trainers, nannies, and personal stylists, the famous sisters still love to get behind the wheel of their own cars with no drivers in sight.

And according to the famous family, driving is their way to 'learn responsibility' outside of their celebrity bubble.

Lifting the lid on why they continuously forgo personal chauffeurs, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim, 41, told Variety that driving is also a way to keep some independence and distance from celebrity photographers.

This is especially relevant when the sisters are taking their kids to school.

"They are super respectful about school stuff,” Kim told Variety.

“I guess I stay in a bubble, but I’m really able to have really normal days."

While the Kardashian clan are happy to relish in the normality of driving - there is nothing ordinary or normal about their bank balances.

Ahead of their brand-new HULU series, The Kardashians, the famous family are set to rake in a whopping reality $100 million.

And Khloe, 37, has since confirmed that the hefty paycheque will be split equally among all of the family members.

“It definitely played a factor because we give so much of our personal lives up for entertainment,” Khloé told Variety.

“We always have our private family conversations, and we’re pretty brutal, me and my sisters, with what we will settle for or not settle for.

"But not all money is good money. It has to be a good fit, and Hulu was just the perfect fit for us.”

It comes after Kim shared that their new series will be longer and more 'documentary-style' than Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Although the new series will be quite different from KUWTK, Kim has no intentions of shying away from the tough topics of her life - including her messy divorce from estranged husband Kanye West.

Kim refrained from sharing most of her divorce on the E! reality series, and while she's hoping to be more open about it in her new show, she has insisted that she won't be airing her and Kanye's dirty laundry to viewers.

"Being in the public eye and having disagreements publicly is never easy," she told.

“But I do believe in handling it all privately. I believe in championing publicly and criticizing privately.

“I don’t think I would ever criticize the father of my children on my TV show. That’s just not really what I’m about, and I just don’t think that would ever make me feel good."

The Kardashians is set to air on Hulu on 14 April, with new episodes weekly, and it's currently marked as 'coming soon' to Disney+ internationally.
