The Kardashian family has posed together for a special edition of CR Fashion Book's latest issue.
CR Fashion Book unveiled a collector's edition of Issue 15 with the Keeping Up With the Kardashian stars center stage. This is the first time the family (minus Rob Kardashian) has posed together for a cover in four years.
The cover was photographed by Heji Shin, who has previously photographed Kanye West.
The cover features the five sisters and their mother wearing custom Mugler as part of the magazine's public vs. private themed issue.
Mugler has been back in the spotlight lately, with Cardi B wearing vintage Mugler at the 2019 Grammys and Kim Kardashian West opting for the designer at the Met Gala.
The women also wear Yeezy shoes to support Kim's husband Kanye West.
CR Fashion Book founder and editor-in-chief, Carine Roitfeld, has been a fan of Kim since her early reality star days. She told People she chose the Kardashian family as cover stars because of how perfectly they embody the public vs. private theme. "They live their private lives publicly and have done so for over a decade," she said, adding that "It’s also rare to see all of the girls together in the same editorial, so it was a pleasure to have them all involved.”
Roitfeld previously famously dubbed Kim as a fashion icon. Kim responded by saying, "I have always loved and respected Carine's style and her taste, so for her to choose Kanye and I is such a big deal."
Kris Jenner also pens a personal essay for the magazine about life with her family. "When you love unconditionally, that’s a huge thing. Because that means that you love through anything. Love is a very powerful emotion, and it just doesn’t come and go for me. It’s like the perfect storm," she wrote.
"When I love, I love really hard. And I’m all-in. I expect a lot and I set the bar really high… I will give everything I have – physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, I’m in," Kris said.
The 'momager' also talks about always wanting a big family and working to protect them. "At the end of the day, the reason we are so tight-knit is that there’s nothing that can get through the coat of armor. There’s just nothing. I love my family so hard that there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them."
This special edition issue complements the current issue of CR Fashion Book, which features Celine Dion as the cover star. The Kardashian cover drops on October 3.
