Karan Brar and Josie Totah spark romance rumours after VIRAL kissing video - Actors react

Former 'Jessie' co-stars Karan Brar and Josie Totah sparked dating rumours after a PDA-filled TikTok video went viral on social media.

In a video posted on their handles, Karan wraps his arms around Josie from behind before she leaned in for a kiss. Fans were quick to speculate about their relationship status, leading to widespread chatter online with many posting the clip and sharing their excitement.

However, both actors have clarified that the playful moment was nothing more than a joke between close friends.

Totah, who came out as transgender in 2018, quickly set the record straight by posting a follow-up TikTok video. Laughing as she repeatedly said, "It was a joke," she captioned the post, "We are two platonic best friends who danced a little too close to the sun."

Brar also addressed the situation on Instagram Stories, writing, "It was a joke 😭," and adding that they "didn't mean to gaslight" the internet.

Despite their clarifications, fans remained divided. One commented, "That did not look like a joke," while another lamented, "Well, you can't be joking like that because now I'm disappointed."

Brar and Totah starred in Disney Channel's Jessie from 2011 to 2015, alongside Debby Ryan, Peyton List, and the late Cameron Boyce. Totah joined the cast in 2013 as Stuart Wooten, a recurring character with a crush on Skai Jackson’s Zuri Ross. Brar played Ravi Ross, one of Zuri's siblings cared for by the titular babysitter, Jessie.
