Karamoko Dembele was left watching on as his new club Brest took on the superstars of PSG.
The former Celtic starlet made the switch from the Scottish champions to France earlier this summer but like his time at Parkhead, he has found first-team minutes hard to come by in the early stages of his move to Ligue 1. The youngster is yet to start a match in the league and he was once again left on the bench as new side narrowly lost out at the Parc des Princes.
Neymar was the matchwinner on the day as he superbly got on the end of a stunning Lionel Messi pass to fire across the goalkeeper into the net. Kylian Mbappe was also involved as the French giants picked up all three points. With 20 minutes remaining Dembele's side had the perfect chance to level as they were awarded a penalty kick but former Leicester City striker Islam Slimani was superbly denied by Gianluigi Donnarumma from 12-yards as he dived low to his left to get a big hand on the effort and turn it around the post.

His latest non-game time action means the 19-year-old has played just 30 minutes of football in the league so far this season with his last run out coming in the 7-0 defeat to Montpellier and against former Celtic team-mate Christopher Jullien.
He was left on the bench in the last two outings before PSG against Rennes and Strasbourg.
Next up for Brest - who sit 17th after seven games - is a home clash with Ajaccio a week today before games with Auxerre and Lorient.
For Dembele, he will hope to impress in training and gain more valuable first team minutes. He penned a four-year deal to move to France earlier this summer.
