Kanye West has been looking towards his next relationship after his divorce from Kim Kardashian has been finalised.
The 43-year-old rapper is reportedly wanting someone who is more on his level with creativity and "speaks the same language" as an artist.
Kanye had taken his time to respond to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star's divorce petition, as he thought that Kim might change her mind, but now he knows it is for real, he's said to be looking for a 'better' match next time.
A source has told Page Six that he already knows that his next relationship will be “with an artist and a creative person” so that “they can speak the same language to each other.”
The rapper has previously shared a high opinion of himself when it comes to where he believes he is in the world of creativity.
Kanye told GQ magazine: "I am Michelangelo. I am Picasso.”
He added: “I am unquestionably, undoubtedly, the greatest human artist of all time. It’s not even a question at this point. It’s just a fact.”
Kim, in the meantime, is focusing on their four children and wants to "remake her image as a devoted mother."
The source added that as well as building her KKW Beauty brand and SKIMS clothing, she will look to "eventually enter politics."
It would seem that Kim is not looking to rush into another relationship once her seven-year marriage has been brought to an end.
A source told Page Six: "She’s not dating anyone because, if she were, it would be a career move. She can’t go to restaurants now on dates and have paparazzi [due to the pandemic].
"She can’t date quietly; she doesn’t even understand what that would be like.”
Another source added: “We’re talking about someone who is already one of the most famous people in the world … she doesn’t need anyone to make her more famous.”
In papers filed last Friday, Kanye lists the reason for the divorce as irreconcilable differences.
He is also asking for joint legal and physical custody of their children and to terminate the right to spousal support on both sides.
