Kanye West 'still working on numerous projects' despite 'mental health struggle'

Kanye West is pressing forward with various projects despite his reported mental health struggles, sources say.

The rapper, entrepreneur and fashion mogul, 43, has been making headlines after a tearful start to his Presidential campaign last weekend.

He was also thought to have suffered a bipolar episode following a string of explosive now-deleted tweets.

But insiders told TMZ that he hasn't let it hit his business drive or his music passion.

The sources told the website that Kanye's still been able to work on upcoming projects with global brands GAP and Adidas, as well as taking on directorial duties for a new music video.

What's more, Kanye is said to have a huge team surrounding him making sure everything runs smoothly.

And GAP and Adidas reportedly trust that their deal with run as planned - with it said Kanye's picked Mowalola Ogunlesi as chief designer for his GAP range.

Kanye confirmed in June that his brand Yeezy would be collaborating with high street staple GAP, with its shares soaring since the announcement.

While new album Donda didn't drop on Friday as initially planned, recent photographs are thought to show Kanye directing a new music video.

Mirror Online has reached out to reps for Kanye, GAP and Adidas for comment.

Sunday's emotional South Carolina campaign launch saw Kanye touch on topics from abortion to vaccines, race relations to space travel.

He shed tears as he claimed he and then girlfriend Kim Kardashian had considered aborting eldest child North, now seven.

"I nearly killed my daughter!" he blubbed, after claiming Kim had told him she was going to have the baby.

The scene was said to have left Kim's family "shocked beyond words".

And in a series of now-deleted tweets, Kanye took aim at Kim and Kardashian momager Kris, branding them "white supremacists" and comparing Kris to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

He also suggested that Kim cheated on him with fellow rapper Meek Mill, insisting that he'd been trying to divorce her since 2018.

Meek Mill denied Kanye's allegations.

Kim broke her silence to address Kanye's words, branding her husband a "brilliant but complicated" man and urging "compassion" while issuing a message about mental health.
