In a bit of a surprise for the city, Kanye West will host an edition of his “Sunday Service” this weekend at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. The service, which includes music and “messages of positivity and peace to Chicago’s youth,” will be free and open to the public starting at 9 a.m. Sunday morning.

Tickets are available (for free) at 11 a.m. CT Saturday on Live Nation.

West has recently been traveling with his “Sunday Service” choir to host events around the country. His wife, Kim Kardashian, has described the services as “Christian-based,” although they don’t follow any specific denomination and rarely include sermons.

The shows typically feature West and a choir performing a variety of gospel and hip hop-centric songs in a jubilant and inspiring atmosphere.

One of West’s previous stops for the “Sunday Service” came in Dayton, Ohio, alongside Dave Chappelle following the mass shooting there.

For those unable to attend this Sunday’s service at Northerly Island, it will be broadcast live on 107.5 WGCI Chicago, according to iHeartRadio.
