Queues for must-have trainers have become something of a regular occurrence in Newcastle and another line started to form on Friday as fans await the launch of another much-hyped shoe.
By Friday afternoon, a queue of over 50 people had gathered outside JD Sports on Northumberland Street in the city centre to try and get their hands on the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 Cloud Whites - the new trainer from Kanye West & Adidas.
They go on sale from selected retailers in the US and Europe on Saturday, September 21 for a RRP of $220 or £176 and will be available in adult, kids, and infant.
They are expected to be available from 7am. After went people went crazy for the Yeezy 350s earlier this year, demand is set to be sky high for the new drop.
The product description of the V2 YEEZYs on Adidas' website reads "The YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 Cloud White features an upper composed of multi-toned re-engineeredPrimeknit.
"The post-dyed monofilament side stripe is woven into the upper. The midsole utilizes adidas’innovative BOOST™ technology."
Shoe website The Sole Supplier describes the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 Cloud Whites as "a minimal masterpiece," adding "like a flawless fusion between the ‘Triple White’ and the ‘Static’ with a hint of ‘Blue Tint’, this Ye x adidas shoe definitely deserves a spot in your collection.
