Kanye West plotting to build network of tiny planned cities called 'Yecosystem'

Kanye West  has reportedly filed paperwork for his plans to build a network of tiny cities known as a 'Yecosystem'.

The chart-topping rapper is allegedly trying to trademark the words 'Yeezyverse,' 'Yzyverse' and 'Yxyverse' and has filed copyright applications for the project, Rolling Stone reports.

Kanye, 45, has hopes for each individual city to be self-sufficient with everything needed close by including a healthcare system and a beauty salon, it has been claimed.

Reports claim the idea has been in development for a while now for Kanye, with plans being put in place prior to his recent anti-Semitism row.

A source told the magazine: "He comes from a good place. It’s definitely his goal that everything that people touch that’s his is a good thing and has a good impact on the world."

The trademark application reveals that work on Kanye's towns would begin next year all over the United States.

The new business venture comes as the future of his Yeezy sneakers has been called into question with resellers feeling unsure about any backlash after his anti-Semitic comments and White Lives Matter T-shirts.

Rumours have been circulating that sports brand Adidas may end their contract with him and the loyalty of his fanbase has also become a moot point.

TMZ has claimed that the resellers are looking to see how his audience may respond if he releases any new music or merchandise.

Fashion magazine Vogue has already recently announced that they will no longer work with Kanye after his latest bout of controversies.

A spokesperson told Page Six that editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, 72, has turned her back on Kanye – despite being photographed modelling sunglasses from his Yeezy brand last month.

Kanye caused furore when he recently posted a string of tweets claiming he would go "death con 3 on Jewish people."

He then responded to claims he was being anti-Semitic with a further tweet claiming that it wasn't possible for him as a black man.

He said: "The funny thing is I actually can't be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jews also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda."

Kanye then addressed his comments further when he appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored to speak candidly about various aspects of his life.

At the time he claimed his comments were only related to some Jewish people – those who had hurt his feelings.

He said: ''I will say I'm sorry for the people that I hurt with the 'death con' comments.

"I feel like I caused hurt and confusion. And I'm sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through, and that I used my platform where you say hurt people hurt people. I was hurt."
