Kanye West pays tribute to Nipsey Hussle at Sunday Service

Kanye West paid tribute to the late Nipsey Hussle at his Sunday Service.

The rapper’s Sunday Service sessions are an outdoor concert featuring reworked versions of his own songs, alongside guest performances from the likes of Kid Cudi and 070 Shake.

During the latest service, on Sunday, 7 April, he played audio of Hussle offering some words of encouragement. “Stay motivated, stay inspired,” the rapper said in the clip.

Eric Holder has been charged with Hussle’s murder, after the rapper was shot outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles.

Hussle was later declared dead, aged 33. Two other people were shot but survived, the Los Angeles Police Department has said.

Tributes flooded in after news of the rapper’s death broke, with Rihanna writing: “This doesn’t make any sense! My spirit is shaken by this!”

J Cole dedicated a song to Hussle while performing at Dreamville Fest, while Drake also offered his condolences during his set at London’s O2 arena.
