Kanye West escorted out of Skechers after showing up 'unannounced and without invite'

Kanye West was escorted out of Skechers headquarters after showing up 'unannounced and without invitation'.

The father-of-four, 45, turned up to the footwear brand's head office in Los Angeles hours after being dropped from sports chain Foot Locker.

He was then removed by executives for the brand who said in a statement: “Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West.

“We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech.”

Ye was said to have been engaged in “unauthorised filming” at the corporate offices with Skechers adding the Donda star and "his party" were removed from the building after a "brief conversation".

Skechers’ comments come after Foot Locker and Adidas ended their contracts with Ye, following a spate of anti-Semitic comments he made on Twitter.

He then made an anti-Semitic attack on the "Jewish media" while also making disturbing claims about the death of George Floyd.

The rapper's lucrative contracts were swiftly dissolved with Adidas saying yesterday (Oct 26) it had taken the decision to "terminate the partnership with Ye immediately".

"Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech," a statement said.

"Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."

Ye has also been dropped by popular fitness company Peloton, which joins other companies including Balenciaga and Gap Inc. in distancing themselves from the musician.

In a statement, Peloton revealed it has "indefinitely paused" using any of the rapper's songs on the platform. It read: "We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton indefinitely paused the use of Kanye West ’s music on our platform."

The Stronger star was called out for his behaviour by Piers Morgan on his Uncensored show, who asked the Yeezus founder if he was going to apologise for his actions.

"You don't understand the pain you've been causing with these comments," Piers said.

But Ye clapped back: "Oh my God, God forbid one comment could cause people to feel any of the pain that my people have went through for years.

"Even the Blacks being ushered to the left during the civil rights movement, no one has cared about black people!"

After the awkward exchange, Ye issued an apology - of sorts - musing: "I will say I'm sorry for the people I hurt with the 'death con', with the confusion, I feel like I caused hurt and confusion and I am sorry for the families of the people who had nothing to do with the trauma that I had been through.

"And that I used my platform where you say, I hurt people, and I was hurt."
