Kanye West accused of trying to 'sabotage' court deposition while wearing 'Jesus mask'

Kanye West has been blasted for attempting to "sabotage" his virtual court deposition by refusing to answer questions, constantly playing on his phone, referring to his "mental genius-ness" and wearing a "full-face hood" of Jesus.

The rapper, 44, is accused of using company MyChannel Inc and its technology to help his Yeezy merchandise and Sunday Service before going on to not invest in the company, despite promising to do so.

But the deposition quickly, which happened virtually, reportedly became heated and led to Kanye storming off after just 10 minutes.

According to AllHipHop, who claim they have obtained official documents regarding the deposition, Kim Kardashian's ex referred to MyChannel Inc's attorney, Michael Popok, as "boy" at least 12 times until he ended the meeting.

Subsequently, the company's attorney's have filed for an emergency motion to allow them to bring Kanye to court, claiming that he had displayed "aggressive" behaviour towards Popok.

The musician and businessman was also seen playing with his cell phone as he refused to answer any of his opponent’s questions.

Most shockingly, Kanye terminated the adversarial conversation by putting a “full-face hood and head covering adorned with Jesus Christ’s image which obscured his face and muffled his voice".

Attorney Ben J. Meiselas said: “West’s bad faith efforts to sabotage the deposition will be viewed by the Court as one of the most outrageous and inappropriate deposition performances it has observed as well.”

Last August, executives from MyChannel Inc. claimed that they had helped the artist maximize the revenue made from his Sunday Service in addition to his brand, Yeezy.

As a result, Kanye is accused of failing to stick to his investment promises.

This comes as the Yeezy owner - who is rumoured to be dating model Irina Shayk - currently undergoes a divorce with socialite, Kim Kardashian.

Kim officially filed for divorce on February 19, 2021, before both former lovers cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their separation in April 2021.

Kanye and Kim have agreed to joint custody of their four children as well as not needing spousal support.
