Kanye West: he'll not see anything in those specs
Remember when Kanye's blog posts seemed to consist mainly of pictures of Marc Jacobs shoes, speedboats and busty models? Well recently he and his CapS LoCk have discovered that a personal blog is the perfect outlet for refuting false rumours and generally letting off steam.
Of course there's the natty little headlines, such as "THIS JUST IN... AMY WHINEHOUSE HATES ME!!! NOW I'VE REALLY MADE IT!!! LOL!!!!" or, writing about Jay-Z, "MY BIG BRO KILLED THAT GLASTONBURY SHIT!!! SHUT DOWN THE HATERS HIP HOP IS ALIVE!!" But brevity really gets a kicking when the rapper is the recipient of bad press. "I am sick of negative people who just sit around trying 2 plot my downfall... Why????" he asked on June 24th, following reports that his Bonnoroo performance was both tardy and crap. "Call me any name you want.... arrogant, conceited, narcissistic, racist, metro, fag whatever you can think of.... BUT NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! NEVER SAY I DIDN'T GIVE MY ALL! THIS SHOWS NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY TO BE GOOD AT SOMETHING THERE WILL BE PEOPLE THERE TO LIE ABOUT YOU AND BRING YOU DOWN!" He's not joking either - note the lack of emoticons.
Most recently, the rapper took the media to task over reports he was attending anger management classes. "I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah... SIIIIIIGGGHHHH!" He rounds off by saying: "I don't know if everyone has realised this yet but I don't do interviews if there's anything I wanna say I'll say right here on my own blog."
Punctuation may not be a priority, but at least the world finally gets to hear the truth about Kanye. Britney, Amy and the rest ought to take note. LOL!
