Kanye West has finally released his highly anticipated 10th studio album, DONDA - and fans have been going crazy on social media.
The latest album comes as a tribute to Kanye’s mother Donda West who passed away in 2007.
Featuring tracks with huge names Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch and a whole lot more, reactions from fans have been a mixed bag as they stream the brand new album.
“Kanye has blessed us on a Sunday with the album of the year,” wrote one Twitter user,
“Donda isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural reset, a reason to breathe, an escape from this cruel world filled with thieves. It’s art” gushed another.
Plenty of adoring Yeezy fans have already called for DONDA to be named as album of the year, even some saying it could go on to win album of the decade.

However some fans aren’t as impressed with the hyped up album.
“I’m 5 tracks into (the album)... Not happy so far I ain’t gonna lie,” wrote one.
“I will play Drake for 96 hours straight before I even think about listening to that Kanye album,” scoffed another, referring to the rivalry between the two rappers.

In recent years, Ye has made a shift towards religious tones in both music and lifestyle. With tracks like “Praise God,” “Jesus Lord,” “Jesus Lord pt 2” and “Lord I Need You,” some listeners have been left feeling out of the god-fearing loop.
One Twitter user even compared the 27-track long album to “a whole bible.”
“Atheists listening to Donda by Kanye West album,” said another, attaching a sarcastic hand-on-hip meme.
But for others the cultural shift hasn’t left them behind with one user writing “atheist here, I’m f*cking jamming.”
With DONDA just fresh to streaming services, fans are left binging the 2 hour album before they can really decide whether it’s truly worthy of album of the year or if the highly-anticipated album is a let-down.
