Kante, Emerson, Barkley - The starting XI Frank Lampard should pick for Chelsea at Man United

Sunday will be a huge day for Frank Lampard as he takes Chelsea for his first Premier League match as their head coach.

The Blues travel to Old Trafford at the weekend to face Manchester United in a huge first match of the season.

For Lampard, it wil be a momentous occasion as he takes charge of the club where he became a legend and is still their record goalscorer.

Chelsea had a busy pre-season summer, with seven matches in five different countries, and Lampard will be hoping that his team will be ready.

Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Antonio Rudiger are still injured, while Willian will hope to be in some contention for the game.

Lampard changed around with his formation throughout the summer, however it appears that he has settled on the 4-2-3-1 as they move forward through the campaign.

However, what team should the Blues go with for the opening match of the season at Old Trafford?

Chelsea: 2019/20 season preview

There are a few question marks over certain positions for Lampard, including striker, centre-back and if N'Golo Kante comes straight back into the team after his injury.

But now it's time for you to pick the team that you want to see face up against United at Old Trafford.

Use the team selector above to decide on the players you believe should be in the starting XI.
