Kansas coach Bill Self will tape Cameo videos. Proceeds to charity, of course.

LAWRENCE, Kan. _ University of Kansas basketball coach Bill Self has partnered with Cameo, an internet site where he will record personalized videos to sell to individuals.

Self's fee for a Cameo call has been set at $150, with all proceeds to go to charity. Cameo customers pay a wide range of celebrities and athletes for personalized birthday and holiday greetings and best wishes for special events.

Cameo claims more than 40,000 celebrities offer videos through its service.

"I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy during these very unique times we're all experiencing," Self said in his introductory message to fans on Cameo. "I'm here today to tell you about a way we can hopefully have some fun, provide some entertainment and raise a little money.

"All proceeds from this will go toward player-led initiatives on our campus and in our community obviously promoting equality. All you have to do to get involved is go to the app Cameo and when you do this, click on it and you'll find different ways which maybe you can surprise one of your closest friends or a loved one."

Self wrote on Twitter: "I'm excited to announce I have partnered with @bookcameo to make personalized video messages for you and your loved ones! Looking forward to connecting and helping raise funds for Equality initiatives. Rock Chalk!"
