Kanpur: Ploggers collect 500 kgs of plastic

KANPUR: Kanpur ploggers on Saturday collected around 500 kgs of plastic, polythene and non-perishable stuff from Visarjan Ghat of river Ganga near Ganga Barrage . Sanjavini Sharma convener of Kanpur Ploggers said besides that ploggers also planted a neem plant at ghat and protected that with plastic tree guard which was made by used plastic.The collected plastic and other material was picked by the Kanpur Municipal corporation and sent for recycling.Amit Singh chief health officer of KMC was also present in plogging.
