Kangaroos make light work of France to stay unbeaten at RLWC

Wade Graham became the first Australian player since Gordon Tallis in 2000 to score four tries in an international match as Australia demolished France 52-6.

France put up a fight for most of the first half and threatened to go ahead before the break, before the Canberra crowd was treated to some fine Kangaroos play after the break as the tries came flooding in.

Graham had his hat-trick before half-time, adding a fourth after the break, as Australia ran in 10 tries to one.

That one — a fine breakaway run from French full-back Mark Kheirallah — was a memorable effort for the minnows, but was as good as the night got for the team in red, white and blue.

There were also tries for Josh Dugan, Cameron Munster (two), Billy Slater, Tyson Frizell and Valentine Holmes.

Munster earned a late call up to make his debut when James Maloney pulled out of the camp on the afternoon of the game due to personal issues, and he made his opportunity count.

The win makes it two from two for Australia, with Lebanon awaiting in Sydney on November 11.
