Kangana Ranaut takes a dig at star kids as AR Rahman's old remarks against Bollywood go viral - See posts

Old quotes of AR Rahman from an interview have been doing the rounds on social media. The composer had spoken about why he had not been very active in Bollywood of late.

Now, Kangana has reacted to the Oscar-winning composer's old statement. She also took a dig at star kids for allegedly bullying and harassing outsiders.

She tweeted, 'Bolly kids grow up being obsessed with talent, their parents applaude their every word /move and they too start to believe that lie, until a really gifted person shows up, smacking them right in their faces and raising the bar high it challenges everything they ever believed (sic).'

Elaborating further, she added, 'To be true, and they succumb to what all undeserving, immature, entitled people succumb to in such a situation ( jealousy)They " GANG UP" bully and harass even kill those who they see as gifted, Amadeus is a film about this, my most favourite film (sic).'

In the throwback interview, Rahman was asked why he was doing more Tamil films and not many Hindi films. Replying to the same, he told Cinemania that he doesn't say no to good movies, but he thinks there is a whole gang in Bollywood working against him and spreading false rumours about him. The ace composer also added that people are expecting him to do stuff, but there is another gang of people preventing that from happening. He concluded by saying that he believes in destiny and that everything comes from God.

Kangana will next be seen in 'Emergency' where she will be seen essaying the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The actress also has projects like, 'Chandramukhi 2', 'Tejas' and 'Sita: The Incarnation' in her kitty.
