Kane dilemma, Romero misses out - The Tottenham team Nuno Espirito Santo should pick vs Wolves

Tottenham are on the road for the very first time in the Premier League this season when they make the trip to Wolves on Sunday.

Victorious in their first game of the campaign as they beat champions Man City 1-0 in N17, Spurs will be looking to carry on their winning momentum and remain towards the top of the league table.

The encounter at Molineux sees Nuno Espirito Santo return to his former club for the very first time since departing Wolves back in May.

No doubt set to get an excellent reception in front of the home fans, the Spurs boss will be hoping that his new players silence the Wolves faithful come full-time on Sunday afternoon.

So who will he opt for in his team against Wolves? Our Tottenham reporters at football.london have named the side they would go for at Molineux.

Nuno Espirito Santo will not be keen to break up a winning side as Tottenham travel to Wolves.

While in midweek a makeshift Spurs side lost in the Europa Conference League, the starting XI who started in the victory against Manchester City will be fresh and ready for this game.

Espirito Santo's assistant head coach Ian Cathro remained with them at Hotspur Way in order to prepare them for the game.

With all of that preparation it would seem unlikely that the returning Spurs boss will make changes to that side.

The only temptation could be to bring in Cristian Romero but after his first 90 minutes in more than six weeks after his knee injury, Espirito Santo may decide that this Premier League game has come too soon.

Gold's team: Lloris, Tanganga, Sanchez, Dier, Reguilon; Skipp, Hojbjerg, Alli; Lucas, Son, Bergwijn.

Nuno Espirito Santo has a relatively simple decision to make when it comes to his Tottenham team to face Wolves as barely anyone involved in Thursday's defeat against Pacos de Ferreira took their chance.

Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez deserve to start again at centre-back after an excellent showing against Man City, with Cristian Romero not doing enough in the Europa Conference League to really push the duo.

Giovani Lo Celso had an opportunity to make a case for a starting spot at Molineux but he just didn't take it, thus meaning Dele Alli continues in a midfield three with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Son Heung-min.

Harry Kane is back in training and he could well come into the manager's thinking to start this weekend.

However, it may be best easing him back into action off the bench to begin with as it would be incredibly harsh on one of Lucas Moura or Steven Bergwijn to miss out after wowing at home to Man City
